In my neck of the woods, the council put up red "dog mess" bins for dog walkers to deposit offending items, and 99% of the populace do so. Unfortunately, being bright red, and mounted on poles, certain of the aged population have what is called over the pond, a "senior moment" and regularly post their mail into a steaming box of canine faeces. So now all the dog mess bins have "THIS IS NOT A POST BOX" painted on them!

But isn't it amazing... once you have vented your anger by writing it all out, the resentment has suddenly left you.

I stepped in on Christmas Eve and didn't know it until I was in the car on my way to church with the whole family.

I had to go to the rest room, scrub the offensive thing, and then wear a wet shoe for the rest of the evening.
